JOB DESCRIPTION Organisational entity: North Oil Company (NOC) / Major Projects JOB TITLE Title: Ruya WHP Operations Supervisor SITUATION IN ORGANIZATION Manager N+1: MP – Ruya Field Operations Lead ACCOUNTABILITIES To guarantee the implementation of a quality policy ensuring the operability, maintainability, reliability and safety of the new production facilities. To ensure successful integration of the new equipment or facilities in the Al Shaheen Field. To cover all Operations related topics within projects, including Operability, Reliability and Maintainability are adequately addressed within the Design and Construction of the facilities. JOB DESCRIPTION The Al Shaheen Field development involves several new projects that are being executed in parallel over the period of 10 years with CAPEX investment of around 3.5 Billion USD. The Major Projects consist of: Phase 3.9: new WHPs and Central Processing Complex (comprising a Central Production Platform, Riser platform and Flare Tower) bridge linked to the existing B location. Pipelines global network: Existing pipeline(s) replacement for integrity and debottlenecking. The candidate will have to work transversely with the Project Team, the EPICIC Contractor and Field Operations Team and shall have enough experience and operational knowledge to make recommendations to Projects. ACTIVITIES HSEQ responsibilities Ensure that HSE is given the highest priority. Support and enforce the Project HSEQ management system (charters, objectives, directives, plans, procedures, specifications, ...). Actively embed and enforce NOC HSEQ philosophies at all levels of project execution (Project team and Contractors) through pro-active attitude (site tour management, HSEQ meetings, incentives, actions, ...). Monitor work activities, especially potential areas where unsafe acts could occur, and ensure that risk has been properly identified and assessed prior to work execution (Job Safety Analysis). During Project phase (EPICIC/Site Commissioning) Participate in HAZOPs and Risk Assessments and 3D Model reviews for installation and construction activities associated with Projects. Interface with the Commissioning Manager and Site Commissioning Teams (especially during preparation phase) to facilitate Offshore Execution. Participate to HAZOP, HAZID, PRs, JRA as required. Contribute to Operability/Maintainability studies and provide support to key MIEC processes. Support development of main Operations Procedures for the facility and ensure they are fit for purpose, aligned with current FOPS practices and delivered in a timely fashion. Identify and develop training for Field Ops stakeholders as required for new facilities. Represent Project FOPS at FAT for some main/critical equipment. Ensure adequacy of projects design basis with existing ALS Field bottlenecks or their coherence with identified debottlenecking actions. Supervise Site Operations Teams during installation, commissioning activities and start-up. Support the MP Field Ops Lead as required. Prepare adequate REX (Return of Experience) at the end of each Project. CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT Major Projects involve the development of new offshore platforms bridge linked to the existing facilities, installation of subsea pipelines and debottlenecking of surface facilities. All these activities shall be executed across several international sites. Projects may require complex interfaces with other entities of NOC. Several projects could be handled in parallel. Position is resident in Doha for a period during Detailed Engineering and working at EPICIC site for Detailed Engineering/Construction phase, Offshore for HUC and start-up. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Minimum educational level: BSc in Engineering discipline. Operations profile with Field experience and previous experience in Production Operations and Projects positions (2 to 5 years minimum). Knowledge of Al Shaheen Field preferred. Familiar with Production, Process and Flow Assurance Engineering. Familiar with NOC standards, MANASA and relevant codes and standards preferred. Language: Fluent English. Computer literate. Good communication and transverse skills. Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment. Good analytical skills. Available for frequent missions to EPICIC Contractor and Vendor sites. H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET training.
